Joe Roope's Castaway Fly Shop is a full service fly shop located in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Created by Joe Roope Sr. and Joe Roope Jr. in 1981, Castaway has faithfully served Inland Northwest anglers by providing the finest in fly fishing tackle, guided fly fishing adventures, fly tying materials, and locally tied flies throughout its 27 year existence.
Castaway Fly Shop offers guided outings on many of the beautiful lakes and streams in the Northwest including the shadowy St. Joe River, the Clark Fork River, the Coeur d'Alene River and many more. 
Castaway is a licensed dealer of Loop Tackle Design, Sage, Winston, Ross, Simms, Tibor, Smith-Action Optics, and dozens of other industry leading products.
* Castaway Fly Shop is dedicated to perpetuating the wild trout fisheries of the Inland Northwest through responsible catch and release fly fishing for all species, and by advocating and actively participating in the preservation of wild trout habitat. Therefore, all our fishing trips are strictly catch and release whether or not the piece of water is designated as such.
