| Hayden has been our saving grace over the last few days, and has been fishing consistently well. The Crappie are holding in 8-10 feet of water, usually off the outer points of the bays. We've also incidentally taken several very large Kamloops fishing the Crappie zones with small bead head nymphs and buggers. Give it a shot, you might be surprised!! As for the bass, a few are being caught here and there, just not too consistent yet. Give it another week of the warmer weather and the Smallies will really start pushing into the shallower bays. The Pike have been pretty active over the last few days. They are stacked up spawning in the slough's and will take just about any fly thrown at them, as long as the retrieve is very slow. Larger profile patterns in white, yellow and orange have been the best producers as of late. Read More | |
